4 Original U.S. 11 inch x 14 inch Lobby Cards for the 1947 Arthur Crabtree Thriller DEAR MURDERER, based on the play by St John Legh Clowes and starring Eric Portman, Greta Gynt, Dennis Price, Maxwell Reed, Jack Warner, Hazel Court, Andrew Crawford and Jane Hylton.

Businessman Lee Warren (Eric Portman) sees red after returning from several months in America to find his wife (Greta Gynt) entertaining gentleman callers with considerable vigour. Suffice to say Lee most certainly is the jealous type.
Portman, an unlikely star of 1940s British cinema who pursued a sideline in polite sadism for mixed-up postwar audiences, was never better, his wounded puppy-dog eyes turning Rottweiler with quiet malice.

The lobby cards are in fine condition.
