This item: A PRIME COLLECTABLE An original, vintage Hammer Publicity Manual by Dennison Thornton for this excellent Hammer classic werewolf horror movie, dated November, 1960. The manual itself is card covered and has 88 pages (excluding glossy photo pages) of excellent detail about the movie with many fascinating articles on the stars and the background to the making of the movie, including learning of Oliver Reed's selection from 17 candidates for the role of Leon, or Reed claiming that at school "I used to play Lon Chaney parts in the dormitory..., or Yvonne Romain informing that she was born on her mother's seventeenth birthday - 'we were always being taken for sisters. Many insightful details concerning the actors, crew and the filming are offered in this large, thick tome. Such vintage manuals are rarely offered and are a great addition to any collection. Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) : Very Good ++ -: complete, light wear / rubbing to edges to covers; bound with three metal brads with all pages secure; internally very good and clean with light corner wear to the odd page; overall, certainly very good.
POST & PACKAGING: all items are securely packaged, for as a collector myself I appreciated the need for secure packaging and all materials used are new.
