Wilhelm, Count of Schaumburg-Lippe-Bückeburg (9 January 1724 – 10 September 1777), born Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Graf zu Schaumburg-Lippe-Bückeburg, was a German ruler of the County of Schaumburg-Lippe-Bückeburg, an important military commander in the Seven Years' War, Generalfeldzeugmeister of the Electorate of Brunswick-Lüneburg, a British field marshal and the grandson of George I of Great Britain.

Engraving by Samuel William Reynolds (1773 - 1835). Reynolds studied art in London under Charles Howard Hodges and John Raphael Smith. His first engraved portrait, a study of George III when still Prince of Wales, is dated 1794. Reynolds began exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1797 and continued to show his work there until 1827. His work was also greatly admired by the French and was exhibited at the Paris Salons from 1810. Reynolds was appointed portrait engraver to George III in 1820, after which he produced a set of over 350 small mezzotints after Sir Joshua Reynolds's portraits, issued in four volumes between 1821 and 1826.
