View of Istanbul (Constantinople) and The Golden Horn, a major urban waterway and the primary inlet of the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey.
Engraved by Henry Adlard (active 1824 - 1869).
After William Leighton Leitch (1804 – 1883). A master Scottish landscape watercolour painter and illustrator. He was Drawing Master to Queen Victoria for 22 years. He was Vice President of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, on Pall Mall in London, for 20 years.
