Offered is the book club edition (BCE) of Robin Cook's popular novel "Coma". The book was released in hardcover in 1977 though it remains unknown when it was released to book clubs by the publisher, Little, Brown and Company. In regards to condition, the overall shape is acceptable. As evidenced by the front and back cover scans, the dust jacket has taken a considerable beating. There is significant wear on the edges and flaps to include creasing, chipping, and tears. To shore up and preserve the dust jacket, there are numerous tape repairs on the back of the dust jacket (so as to not be visible). The book itself has a slight curve to the cover and there is some foxing on the exterior of the pages. Page 19-21 does show some staining and all pages show a small bit of age related discoloration. The spine edges show some wear. So, this is a good reader if one has a more pristine copy which one wishes to preserve.
