Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
Offered here is a circa 1920's, pair of orchestra dance music tempos. In average condition, grading at VG. Moderate scuffs and scratch marks are present and some background noise should be expected. No chips, skips, or cracks.
Side 79965 features, "Say It With Music" and side 79982 offers, "Just Like A Rainbow". These fox trot rhythms are performed by The Columbians Dance Orchestra De Luxe.
