Seller's Description

1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.

Offered here are a pair of waltzes recorded in the 1930's. In superbly clean condition with lots of gloss, and looks almost NEW with few scratches, and no skips. A one-inch hairline crack shows on the edge and one tiny edge chip do NOT interfere with the audio. Minimal background hiss for a clear and nearly perfect sound!

Side 141105 presents "When I Dream Of The Last Waltz With You", and side 141133, "Golden Memories". Fabulous easy listening sounds! Both are performed by the waltz artists, The Cavaliers
