Seller's Description

Freddy Gardner was a leading British jazz and dance band musician during the 1930s and 1940s. He was a virtuoso not only on clarinet and alto sax but also on the whole saxophone family. After WWII service, he continued with extensive freelance work, notably as a star soloist with the Peter Yorke Concert Orchestra.

Here are two popular standards on a mid-1940's Columbia recording (#38346) from the Peter Yorke Orchestra, featuring Freddy with a saxaphone solo. Clear sounding with moderate playwear and only incidental scuffs and scratches. No chips, cracks or skips.

Side 20729 shows us, "I'm In The Mood For Love", and Side 20730 features, "I Only Have Eyes For You".
