Seller's Description

1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.

From the late 1940's, this recording has been gently played. In near-mint condition, showing virtually no wear or background noise! No cracks, chips, or skips.

Side CO 38855 offers, "You Call Everybody Darling", and side CO 38956 features, "Cuckoo Waltz".

These vocals are performed by Jerry Wayne, with rhythm and organ accompaniment.
