Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
From the 1930's, this recording has been gently played and handled. In excellent condition, showing some label fading and light scuffs and scratches. Minimal background noise.
Side HCO 2669 features, "I'll Dance At Your Wedding", and side HCO 2670 lists, "Those Things Money Can't Buy".
These fox trot tempos are performed by the Ray Noble Orchestra, and are supported with Buddy Clark vocals.
