Seller's Description
"The wizard of the keyboard," Frankie Carle's Rhythm was one of the most popular jazz groups of the 1940's and 1950's.

Starting in 1916, he worked with a number of mainstream dance orchestras. He became a featured performer (and later partner) in the Horace Heidt orchestra, leaving in 1944 to form his own band. His daughter, billed as Marjorie Hughes, was the lead singer. Carle had several million-sellers in the late 1940's and early 1950's, including his theme song, "Sunrise Serenade" .
Offered here is a spotless and beautifully clear sounding pair of piano solo fox trot tempos. Virtually free of all background noise since I see no scuff or scratch marks. This record has no cracks, chips, or skips. and a high gloss still shows. We conservatively grade this at excellent, though it's probably closer to near-mint.
Side CO 35987 features, "Without You" with rhythm accompaniment. Side HCO 1899 lists, "Rumors Are Flying", also with rhythm accompaniment.
