Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
Offered here is a mostly clean and fabulous sounding pair of 1940's fox trot arrangements by the one and only Count Basie and his Orchestra. Big Band sounds at their best!

Side CO 34353 presents "This Heart Of Mine", with vocal by Lynne Sherman, and side CO 34354 shows, "That Old Feeling", also with vocal by Lynne Sherman.
Moderate surface wear and light scuffs will be found under a decent glossy surface, and scratching is minimal. No breaks, cracks, skips, or chips. The attached name label has been covered to protect the previous owner's privacy.
