Seller's Description

An early to mid-1940s Columbia recording from Horace Heidt and His Musical Knights with vocals.

From 1937 until 1945, Horace Heidt and his orchestra enjoyed more than 50 hit records, and were virtually permanent fixtures on the radio. Offered here is an exceptionally clean and beautiful sounding pair of Big Band dance tempos. Mostly clean, and this platter has no cracks or skips and still shows a high gloss! We rate the condition as excellent.

Side CCO 4274 features the polka"Pennsylvania Polka", with vocal by Charles Goodman, and side HCO 794 plays the fox trot, "When Your Lips Met Mine", with vocal from Gordon MacRae.
