Seller's Description
An early to mid-1940s Columbia recording from Benny Goodman and his Sextet featuring Count Basie on the piano! Does it get any better than this? One of the VERY BEST Big Band sounds of the era!

Offered here is a fairly clean (some label fading) and excellent sounding pair of fox trot arrangements. Light background hiss, minor scuffs, and faint scratches are to be expected, but this platter has no cracks, chips, or skips and still shows a respectable gloss!
Side CO 27027 presents Goodman's "Wholly Cats". Side CO 29028 lists, "Royal Garden Blues". If these Jazz Masterwork tempos don't get you swinging... nothing will.
