An early to mid-1940s Columbia recording from Will Bradley and his Orchestra featuring Ray McKinley on the drums and Freddie Slack at the piano! One of the BEST Big Band sounds of the era!
Offered here is a fairly clean (some label fading on side 1) and fine sounding fox trot arrangement. Light background hiss, minor scuffs, and faint scratches are to be expected, but this platter has no cracks, chips, or skips and still shows a little gloss.
Side CO 27329 presents Part 1 of "Beat Me Daddy (Eight To The Bar)", and side CO 27330 lists Part 2 of, "Beat Me Daddy (Eight To The Bar)". If this Jazz Masterwork doesn't get you tapping your feet - nothing will!
