Seller's Description
We have just acquired a nice small lot of 1st print Classics Illustrated, Special Issues, and World Around Us comic books from the Golden and Silver Age. These are all original owner comic books, purchased at the time of release, read and enjoyed. They average about VG condition. We're scanning both front and back cover. Most have a dust shadow on the inside front covers and what I consider that old great comic book smell. These were not stored and preserved, but now they will be as I have gotten my hands on them. We gladly combine shipping. Please contact us prior to making purchase so we can combine invoices. We probably won't run into a lot like this for awhile. Many people have the reprints, but you don't see 1st prints too often.
This is Classics Illustrated #149: Off On a Comet, dated March, 1959. It is 1st print, HRN 149. Book has been graded VG/FN. Comic has some creasing, a large crease on the top right front cover. There are tiny tears on the edges of the cover. Overall looks nice short of the crease. We gladly combine shipping if purchasing more than one comic book.
