The coin is of the late emperor Showa (1926-1989) of the only Empire in the modern world.. Rice plant growing on left side of coin representing agriculture; over waters at bottom of coin representing fisheries; and teeth of a cog or gear around the central hole representing industry.. Very attractive classic script, that make the inscriptions of the coin alive.. Not so common nowadays.. Interesting coin in nice condition..
