Original old Homespun fabrics industry trade magazine ad for CHATHAM MANUFACTURING COMPANY of Elkin, NC. Getting Off to a Good Start. Off all the gaily ribboned wedding presents, none was treasured more highly by the newlyweds than the fine, fleecy blankets from Mr. Chatham's mill. Today, the happy pair sets off in different fashion, but Chatham still supplies the fluffy blankets to be cherished through the years. Tweed for women's clothes, automobile upholstery fabric, Homespun for men's suitings. This 1947 magazine advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed.
