Seller's Description

Original British 11 inch x 8 3/8 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1953 William A. Seiter Boxing Crime Drama CHAMP FOR A DAY, based on the Saturday Evening Post Story “The Disappearance of Dolan” by William Fay and starring Alex Nicol, Audrey Totter, Charles Winninger, Hope Emerson, Joseph Wiseman and Barry Kelley.

A novice prizefighter (Nicol) arrives in a Midwestern city for his first professional bout, only to find that the promoter has disappeared with the advance money. Encouraged by a pair of local hoodlums (Wiseman and Kelley), he decides to go through with the fight—and, in the process, find the missing man and perhaps attract the attention of the haughty Miss Gormley (Audrey Totter), a fellow resident in his hotel.

The Advertisement is in very good condition.
