Original old architectural vintage catalog THE CAST STONE INSTITUTE. Building stones molded from concrete in which the aggregate is especially selected for durability and appearance. Advantages, surface finish, specifications are given. Illustration of Acid Washed Finish shows tool markings moulded into the surface of the cast stone. Machine tooled, hand tooled, crandalled, sawed, machine rubbed, bush hammered, brushed, hand rubbed and acid wash finishes are shown. Pictured is St. Mary's Hall, Boston College. Maginnis and Walsh, Architects. main office was located at 33 West Grand Avenue in Chicago, IL.
This 1931 unique four page technical catalog would be a marvelous addition to your engineering library. Pages are loose and contain small amount of residual glue on edge.
