POAP19 This is a specialist modern postcard by Carolyn Young called Wamboin Active Flowering which was the photo used to enter the annual Charity Awards at Charity London with details on reverse unused and mint.
This photograph won the Centre for Contemporary Photography Salon 2016 Pat Corrigan AM Acquisitive Award, and was shortlisted for the Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award 2017. Carolyn was inspired to make this work during the spring of 2015 after high rainfall during winter caused a great abundance of native flowers - never seen before or since during her 17 years of living in Wamboin, New South Wales.
