- The S1 and Cruiser Large look similar in design and function, but the S-Series are high-performance skates while the Cardiff Cruisers are recreational skates. Some of the differences include ABEC 5 bearing quality (Chrome vs Standard metal), wheel quality (Super High Rebound vs High Rebound), wheel width, wheel durometer, brake material, stitching style, and color. Simply put, both skates perform well, but the S1 will be a little faster and have a little higher performance.
