Original British 14 inch x 12 inch 16 Page Pressbook for the 1949 Walter Forde Comedy CARDBOARD CAVALIER, with a screenplay by Noel Langley and starring Sid Field, Margaret Lockwood, Jerry Desmonde, Jack McNaughton, Brian Worth, Edmund Willard as Oliver Cromwell, Mary Clare, Alfie Dean, Anthony Hulme, Miles Malleson, Irene Handl, Claude Hulbert, Michael Brennan, Peter Bull and John Salew.
In Cromwellian England, royalists commission a barrow boy to carry a secret letter. Helped by Nell Gwynn, he succeeds after encounters with a castle ghost and custard pies.
