Seller's Description

Original 9 1/2 inch x 7 3/8 inch Black and White Still of LARS HANSON, MARCELINE DAY & JAMES A. MARCUS in the 1927 John S. Robertson Drama CAPTAIN SALVATION, based on the novel by Frederick William Wallace.

A returning seminary student goes up against a small New England town when he comes to the aid of a prostitute who has been injured, despite the townspeople's calls for her to be run out of town. His stand endangers his upcoming marriage and his standing in the town where he was to be a minister.

The still is in good condition with some surface marks and a small piece of surface paper loss at the bottom.
