Issued on 21 March 2025, this is the third issue in CILP's Aviators Series. It features Supermarine Spitfires MkVBs landing at RAF Rochford in 1942, the squadron badge, and ground staff. The stamp commemorates the American volunteers of the three 'Eagle' Squadrons in RAF service, in particular No.121 'Eagle' Sqn RAF that flew from airfields in Essex. This stamp has a print run of 160 stamps. A Limited Edition First Day Cover was also released. |
