Original British 11 3/4 inch x 8 1/4 inch Trade Advertisement from The Film Renter & Moving Picture News for the 1920 Louis Mercanton French Drama CALL OF THE BLOOD (L’APPEL DU DANG), based on the novel by Robert Hichens and starring Ivor Novello, Phyllis Neilson-Terry, Desdemona Mazza, Gabriel de Gravone, Fortunio Lo Turco and Charles Le Bargy.
The film is most notable for giving a screen debut to the Welsh actor Novello, who went on to become a major star in the 1920s. An Englishman commits adultery with a Sicilian woman.
The Advertisement is in very good condition.
