ARTICLE STATUS: The quality of the article varies according to its status and is indicated in the title of the article in brackets:

• PROOF= Coin made especially for collectors or souvenirs. They are selected from normal circulation or commemorative coins and undergo a polishing process that leaves the coin field as bright as a mirror. They are not minted for use, although they have the same facial value as those commonly used.
• FDC= They are the first coins minted with a new stamp, before it loses some of the perfection or depth of the reliefs.
• BU= Coins without circular, with a special polish to increase its brightness.
• SC= Of absolute perfection, but with slightly softer reliefs than the flower coins.
• EBC= Pieces that are almost in flower of stamp, but show signs of having circulated or of having been badly manipulated in the mint, or if they present a strong patina although they retain the original brightness.
• MBC= Parts that have circulated but keep the reliefs very well, although the highlights show initial wear.
• BC= Pieces quite worn, especially in the figure, but that still retain the legend and date more or less visible. It also includes those with strong rust marks or a deep patina.
• RC= Totally worn parts that still allow to guess some details for its cataloging. They usually have no collectible value, unless they are very rare pieces. Includes folded and split pieces.
• MC= Pieces so worn or patinated that they are unrecognizable and you can only guess their value or type by size, weight, metal, etc.
