Seller's Description
Postcard William Rowe, Blacksmith with his dog Ben outside his smithy at Herland Cross near Breage in West Cornwall. c.1900
Harry Magor of Carlean, seen sitting astride his horse, drove a team of horses which conveyed the large poles used to construct Marconi's experimental radio station at Poldhu, Mullion in 1901. On the granite block used for fixing iron bands to waggon wheels, stands George Reynold, returned from South America where he spent many years mining. In the donkey and trap is Streamer John a tin streamer who extracted ore from the mine workings and supplemented his income by selling vegetables
