Butterick 3952 sewing pattern. Misses Dress in 2 lengths. Size 18 Bust: 38 inches (97 cm), Waist: 30 inches (76 cm).

Circa 1965??? (The pattern is undated, 1965 is my best guess).

Includes a sheet of instructions with Sewing tips, Fashion tips, Accessary tips. There is a chart that shows how to get 88 different dresses from this one pattern.

Some of the pattern pieces have been cut out already. Please see the pattern inventory, below, to see which pieces are cut/uncut.

5 of the pattern pieces have been cut short for the sorter length dress. The cut off pieces are included in the package.

Butterick 3952 DRESS IN TWO LENGTHS

A-shaped one or two-piece dress with wide jewel neckline and princess seaming. With or without contrast panels, belt or neck insets. Optional top-stitch trim.

SUGGESTED FABRICS - Silk Linen, Lightweight Wool, Cotton, Linen, Silk, Synthetics.
Striped fabrics are not suitable. Extra fabric is required for matching plaids. The above Yardage does not allow for shrinkage.

NOTIONS NEEDED - Thread. Seam Binding. Hooks and Eyes. VIEWS A, B, C, D AND E: 20 INCH NECKLINE TYPE ZIPPER. VIEW F: 18 INCH NECKLINE TYPE ZIPPER AND 7 INCH SKIRT PLACKET ZIPPER.

The pattern pieces are in good used condition.

The instruction sheets are in good condition.

The envelope is in poor condition. It has several large rips in it which have been taped up and it is open all the way down one side. (see Pictures).

Note: This size 18 pattern is the old sizing, it is equal to what a 16 is now.

Also, whenever possible, I show pictures of the front & rear of the pattern envelope, the Cutting guide and the size chart. The suggested materials and notion lists are also supplied in my listings.

Please Note that I ship patterns via Canada Post letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag (if weight allows) placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item.

Of course, as always, I combine shipping and all stated postage includes free insurance.
