Interesting and uncommon silver coin of Ludwig Rudolph Duke of Brunswick-Lueneburg and Prince of Wolfenbuttel in nice condition. On obverse the coin depicts the horse left with circular legend LVDOVIC RVDOLPH.D.G.DVX.BR.ET L. On the reverse the value VI [pfennig] within imperial orb, date on both sides 17 31. Ludwig Rudolph inherited the small principality and by introducing policy of economy on the court maintenance restored the finances. This coin is from the first year of his rule and it shows features, present in 1731 only: the title ends on L and not on LV or LVN for Lueneburg as it happened later, the orb is divided by 5-rays star and not by rosette as in next years.
