Seller's Description

Original 9 3/8 inch x 7 3/8 inch Black and White Still of JEAN KENT, WILFRID HYDE-WHITE & IVAN SAMSON in the 1951 Anthony Asquith Drama THE BROWNING VERSION, written by Terence Rattigan.

Still by Cornel Lucas. Born in 1923 Lucas was a world-renowned Rank Studios photographer known for his legendary black-and-white portraits of stars including Joan Collins, Brigitte Bardot, Lauren Bacall, Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn and Diana Dors, among many others.

Classics teacher Andrew Crocker-Harris is an old-fashioned disciplinarian who is widely disliked by his pupils. But with his marriage and health ailing, he is not as thick-skinned as he appears.

The still is in very good condition with slight warping at the upper right corner caused by a credit list tacked to the reverse.
