Gold Vintage "Sombrero" Brooch
This was purchased in the 1970's at an antique shop in Wisconsin
Gold brooch with an inset pearl
The pearl is set in bands of metal wire twisted into the sombrero shape
No manufacturer's marking
1½ inches diameter
Very well-made with perfect detailing and in excellent condition
There are spots darkened from age on the band holding the clasp on the bottom
