Seller's Description
Selling a Pair Regimental Cuff Links in Gold of the Royal Hong Kong Regiment (V).
It is two dragons facing beneath with Queen Elizabeth Crown and motto scroll "NULLI SECUNDUS IN ORIENTE"
The Hong Kong Volunteers were first formed in 1854 and were renamed as The Hong Kong Altillery and Rifle Volunteer Corps in 1878. In 1917 they were again renamed as, The Hong Kong Defence Corps. In 1920 the name of the Corps was again changed to, The Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps. In 1961 the Corps became The Hong Kong Regiment (The Volunteers) and were awarded the "Royal" title in 1970.
This illustrious Regiment was disbanded in 1995.
Most of the items around are now in the hands of collectors which I am one of.
