Original British 40 inch x 81 inch 3-Sheet Poster for the 1959 Frank Launder Comedy THE BRIDAL PATH, based on the novel by Nigel Tranter and starring Bill Travers, George Cole, Bernadette O’Farrell, Duncan Macrae, Alex Mackenzie, Patricia Bredin, Terry Scott and Gordon Jackson.
Set in the Hebrides off Scotland, the story tells how Ewan MacEwan leaves the isle of Eorsa in search of the perfect wife
Poster art by Walter Amstutz. Author of “Who’s Who in Graphic Art” (1962) an illustrated book of reference to the world's leading graphic designers, illustrators typhographers and carthonists. Co-founder with Walter Herdeg of the bi-monthly Graphis magazine in 1948.

The poster is in very good folded condition in 2 separate sheets. The top title sheet has a split at the left fold junction and a small tear at the top edge.
