Original British 17 inch x 22 inch Trade Advertisement from the Daily Film Renter, January 11th, 1933, for the 1932 Paul L. Stein Drama BREACH OF PROMISE, based on the Cosmopolitan Magazine Story “Obscurity” by Rupert Hughes and starring Chester Morris, Mae Clarke, Mary Doran, Theodore Von Eltz, Elizabeth Patterson and Charles Middleton.
Story of a farm girl who accidentally gets involved with a wealthy politician, who then spurns her. She then sues him for breach of promise, but when she finds out she has ruined his career, she withdraws her claim and is sentenced to a year in jail. Realizes he really loves her, he promises to wait for her.
The Advertisement is in very good condition with one vertical centre fold and minor stains along it.
