Batman and the Atom star in "The Corpse That Wouldn't Die!" by Bob Haney and everything else, including Letters by Jim Aparo, as we see when Batman is electrocuted and declared brain dead while on the trail of the kidnapped Debbie Manton, The Atom must enter the Detective's brain and reactivate it to finish the case and in doing so restores the Batman's brain to normal functioning!
"The Three Clues to Sorcery!" stars The Challengers of the Unknown in a 13 page story by Ed Herron, Bob Brown and Letters by Stan Starkman sees A mad Professor, and his men, kidnap June Robbins in order to have the Challengers collect three different mystical stones! afterwards, the Challengers turn the tables when they use the power of the stones to overpower the kidnappers and rescue June!
Doctor Fate and Hourman meet for the very 1st time in "Solomon Grundy Goes on a Rampage!" in this story reprinted from Showcase #55! Solomon Grundy has returned to Earth after his last encounter with Green Lantern and he is released from the energy capsule in which Lantern had locked him. Once free, Grundy returns to Slaughter Swamp, where he recovers most of his supernatural powers...and the two Heroes have to team up to try and bring down this Behemoth! A Truly Classic tale by Gardner Fox, Murphy Anderson and Gaspar Saladino!!
