Honker T. Flatfoot Send in the Clowns Boyds Bear Resin Figurine

Numbered edition.

The figure is about 7.5 inches tall from base to hat.

The brown bear figurine stands on a round cobblestone platform about 2.25 inches wide.  The underside identifies the piece as a Boyds Bear & Friends piece, and part of the Folkstone Collection.  The edition and limited item number is:  SE/4590.  It says Style #2887 Honker T. Flatfoot, Send in the Clowns.  There are also four small very thin felt circles to protect your surface from being scratched.

This piece is incredibly detailed.  Describing from the top down:  he wears a black or navy blue cap with a maroon and white patch on the left side; a brown button is in the center of the cap.  A black or navy blue evening coat has a white patch with maroon polka dots on the right sleeve.  A black patch with gold polka dots is 'sewn' onto the left sleeve with gold stitches and two areas on the front of the jacket have gold repair stitches.  A gold button is on the back of the jacket and another gold colored button is on the right sleeve.  He wears a very long red and white striped necktie.  The tie has a green patch with white polka dots about midway sewn on with blue thread.  A blue shirt peaks out from the jacket.

The clown's trousers are a light colored checkerboard  with blue and red squares.  The left leg is hitched up showing a gray cuff and gray socks.  A blue and yellow striped patch is on the knee and large silver safety pin in above that.  Tucked into a back pocket is a knotted pink handkerchief with tiny red hearts.

Worn brown shoes have black soles, gold colored laces.  The left shoe has a hole in the toe and a black pawprint on the heel.  The right shoe has a blue patch sewn with black stitches over the toe. 

A purple umbrella with large gold colored polka dots and a detailed duck handle is held in the bear's right paw.  A gold colored horn with a red squeeze bulb is in the left paw.

One ear is covered by the cap.  The bear has brown fur.  His face is white and his nose red and he has black eyes.

On the back of the cuff it says copyright 1999 TEC.

Occasionally, we have questions after your purchase.  Sometimes we need to confirm a shipping address.  If we have questions, we will contact you through ebid’s messaging system. Please check your ebid Messages and your email or shipment of your item may be delayed.  It is possible that your purchase may be cancelled if we don’t hear back from you.

BUYERS LOCATED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES - PLEASE NOTE:

Receipt of your item may be delayed if it has to go through custom inspection in your country.  Occasionally, this adds days or weeks to delivery.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges.

We won't under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.

During peak shipping times, it may take weeks to have your item clear customs.  We’ve had some items arrive in Europe in a week, but a package to South America once took six weeks to arrive!  Again, you’ll have to check with the customs office in your country if your item hasn’t been received.

Restrictions in your country may not allow us to ship certain items. 

Many countries do not allow shipments of coins or precious metals, for example.  Some media, including computer software, music CDs or DVDs may be restricted for sale outside the United States.

VHS and DVDs are formatted differently for different countries.

If you are purchasing a VHS videotape, please note the format your machine requires before you make your purchase.  Most of our tapes are NTSC format (it is specified in the listing what the format is) which will not work in most video players in Europe and Australia.  We routinely contact anyone overseas who purchases a VHS video to ask them to check if their machine can play an NTSC tape before we ship. 

Many DVDs also have a specific format by country.  If you are purchasing a DVD, please make sure the DVD is a format that will play in your machine.
