Borland Screenery

A Windows 3.0 program, Borland Screenery contains Intermission Jr., a "light" version of the Intermission screen saver program. It is used for configuring the three included screen savers Kaleidoscope, Melting Screen, and Picture Show.

Also included is a collection of 20 bitmap images which can be displayed in the Picture Show screen saver, and a collection of 25 icons for various activities and icons for software such as Lotus 1-2-3, Norton Utilities, Novell, Quicken, Borland titles (of course), and other functions such as spreadsheet, database, budget, memo, printer, mailbox, voice mail, notebook, graph, money, games, tools, files, meeting, etc.

Now you can personalize your Windows background screen. Choose from a selection of exciting full-color images to turn your Windows screen into a personal expression of yourself. Whether it's landscape scenery, fine art or sports action, Screenery has a wallpaper, icon or screen saver image to strike your fancy. Imagine... being greeted by an exciting, fun or perhaps even controversial image. It's bound to brighten your day (or at least start some office conversations!).

Borland bundles a sampler of screen savers, fresh wallpaper, and still more icons in its delightful Screenery. The three screen savers offer up predictable melting screens and kaleidoscope effects. The wallpaper, on the other hand, sizzles with sumptuous color and detail. With plenty of backdrops to choose from, you'll find yourself flipping from the Escheresque Plaza to the striking Oriental Dragon-and on to the lush Jungle. The 25 icons seem a bit more colorful than those of Icons 300+ and somewhat less amateurish, though their potential utility is limited by their number. An offer for a free second disk of wallpaper, screen savers, and icons comes with the package.
