Seller's Description

Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1962 Robert Gordon Horror Movie BLACK ZOO starring Michael Gough, Jeanne Cooper, Rod Lauren, Virginia Grey, Martin Stephens, Jerome Cowan, Guy Rolfe, William Castle, Brad Dourif and Elisha Cook Jr.

Michael Conrad is a private zookeeper who owns Conrad's Animal Kingdom. He leads a cult group who literally worship the animals he tends — especially the big cats: a lion, a lioness, a pair of cheetahs, a tiger, and a black panther; as well as a gorilla. Conrad plays organ music to the animals in his living room, and uses them to kill anyone who gets in his way.

Poster art by William Reynold Brown (1917 - 1991). An American realist artist who painted many Hollywood film posters. He was also briefly active as a comics artist.

The poster is in very good folded condition.
