Overall condition is acceptable. Firstly, up front, the glue used to retain the binding had long dried up and crumbled which means the book had come apart. As best possible, I have removed as much of the old glue and using fresh binding glue, have put the book back together. That said, some pages don't line up but neither are any loose that I can find. Nevertheless, exercise care when reading books which are a bit over 60 years old. The front cover has minor to moderate edge wear, creasing running parallel to the spine, some edge chipping and corner rounding, a dog ear crease in the upper right corner, and average shelf wear. The back cover is in much the same condition as the front except that there are wrinkles near the spine rather than your standard creases. The spine has no vertical creases but does have some wrinkles (which carry to the back cover) and heavy edge wear. Interior pages have some discoloration with age.
