Bette stars as Bonita, a brassy casino lounge singer who lives in a trailer with a semi-professional gambler named Harold (Rip Torn). Harold's dreams of striking it rich seem about to come true - he's got a jinx on a sexy black-jack dealer (Ken Wahl). But the gambler's luck changes when Bonita and the dealer get together and play a few cards of their own! All aglitter in fringe and rhinestones, Bette sings "Cowgirl's Dream," and does a funny musical salute to the 50's - including her first on-screen dance steps ever! "Fine supporting performances are given by Rip Torn, who is truly comic as the nasty Harold" (The New York Times), and Ken Wahl, who projects mucho macho appeal!
