Original Belgian 18 1/2 inch x 14 inch Poster for the 1946 William Wyler Wartime Drama THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES, based on the novel by Mackinlay Kantor with a screenplay by Robert Sherwood and starring Fredric March, Dana Andrews, Myrna Loy, Teresa Wright, Virginia Mayo, Cathy O'Donnell, Hoagy Carmichael, Ray Collins, Minna Gombell and Steve Cochran.
Seven Oscars, including best picture, were showered on this classic about three soldiers who find it difficult to resume their small-town lives after the war.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a couple of edge nicks and a small piece of paper stuck in the bottom credits. As with many vintage Belgian posters the top border has been trimmed off.
