4 Original Photographic British 10 inch by 8 inch Front-of-House Stills (Lobby Cards) of ALASTAIR SIM as both the headmistress Millicent Fritton and her book-maker brother Clarence Fritton and GEORGE COLE as Flash Harry in the 1954 Frank Launder Comedy BELLES OF ST. TRINIAN'S , inspired by the drawings of Ronald Searle.
Miss Fritton is headmistress of St Trinian's, where her unorthodox doctrine and free expression has brought her a collection of very uninhibited pupils. The arrival of a wealthy Sultan's daughter as a new pupil leads to involvement in the kidnapping of a prize racehorse.
Front-of-House Sets are sets of (normally) 8 10 inch x 8 inch Stills of scenes from the film, which were originally shown in display cases outside cinemas.
The stills are in very good condition, one with a 1/2 inch tear top left and 2 with slight surface creasing.
