Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1997 Joel Schumacher Adventure BATMAN AND ROBIN starring Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy.
Poison Ivy was the alias of Dr. Pamela Isley. She was a former good-hearted botanist and scientist, but after a botched attempt by Dr. Jason Woodrue to kill her, Pamela Isley transformed into a crafty and seductive eco-terrorist who was half-woman and half-plant. Just as her name indicated, her exterior was as beautiful as ivy, but her interior was as deadly as poison. .
Poster photography by Herb Ritts (1952 - 2002). Ritts was an American fashion photographer and director known for his photographs of celebrities, models, and other cultural figures. He took publicity portraits for Batman, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin which appeared on magazine covers and merchandise throughout the 1990s.
