Up for sale is a old vintage original Children's Book Basic Reader My Country written by Merlin M. Ames, and Published by California State Department Of Education in Sacramento, and illustrated by inTeb  1952 Also on the front cover along the top and down the edge of the cover there is light wear, scuff marks, nicks, and the corners ar e rounding from age. Also at the top and bottom of the spine there is wear nicks, scuff marks, and along the spine there is scuff marks, and scratches. On the back cover along the top and down the edge of the cover there is wear, scuff marks, scratch, nicks, and the corners are rounding from age. The pages are in great condition no pen or pencil marks, crayon, creases, stains, or fading. But the pages are lightly rounding and yellowing from age. Also some pages has light smudges.Also on 5 or 6 pages there is a tear from 1/2" to 1" long. Besides this the book is in great condition for being 72 years old.
