12inch x 18inch Poster PUZZLE: A lady suspecting the honesty of her servant, arranged her supply of blue ball in the form of a cross, so that counting from the bottom up, in any direction, the number was 9. The servant cleverly abstracted two of the balls and rearranged the remainder so that they still retained the original form and counted 9 as before. How did she do it? This puzzle is from a Victorian trade card advertising a product called American Blue Ball. - There is a border around the image. Image size is correct.
