Original 1893 11 1/8 inch x 6 3/4 inch Tinted Engraving titled AUX ARMES!

From the painting by Étienne-Prosper Berne-Bellecour (1838 - 1910). Born in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Berne-Bellecour was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He was a pupil of Émile Signol and François-Édouard Picot. He was a companion of Édouard Detaille and Alphonse de Neuville. He painted many battle paintings of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.
