Original 1930 French 18 1/2 inch x 11 inch print titled AUTRES TEMPS AUTRE MOEURS.
Artwork by Georges Pavis (1886 - 1977). Alfred Georges Pavis was a French painter, watercolor artist and illustrator. Born in Paris, he was educated by Fernand Cormon at the School of Fine Arts from the age of 17. He contributed to magazines like Le Rire and Le Sourire and he was brought over to Le Journal by Gus Bofa in 1909. He illustrated books by Roland Dorgelès and Victor Hugo, and he made novel serials for La Vie Parisienne.
Published in La Vie Parisienne a French weekly magazine founded in Paris in 1863 and was published without interruption until 1970.
