Notice from Seller : Apologies to you all for the increase in postage costs. Australia Post have done it again!! Rather than combatting the counterfeiters and the re-use of stamps they couldn't be bothered cancelling, they just slug the consumer!

I'd like to purchase a range of stamps for shipping to NZ. Don't use PayPal. Do you allow bank transfers? In the spirit of the CER Treaty? Cheers Randall

Hi Randall, Apologies for the late reply, but I have been out all day and have only just seen your message. I do appreciate your interest in purchasing some of my stamps. However, I don't accept payments via international bank transfer. The hefty fees associated with international bank transfers (your bank, my bank and the intermediary bank all charge fees) make them financially unviable. My last international bank transfer cost me $25 of a $50 sale! I am sorry, but this is why I use Paypal. Kind Regards, Karen

That is very interesting. I will raise this with the Ministry of foreign affairs. Under the CER Treaty there is meant to be no barrier to trade with NZ. And given that all the banks are Aussie owned seems a bit on the nose.my son has an Australian bank account. I could ask him to pay.?

Hi Randall. Free trade agreements only remove tariffs and impediments to the movement of goods and services between jurisdictions. They do not control or prohibit fees being charged by banks for international bank transfers. My bank charges a fee on the receival of international funds into my account. They alsoo have no control over the fees charged by the intermediary banks, as the use of these intermediary banks is governed by the procedures initiated by the sending bank (ie your bank) The sending bank will usually also charge you a fee for making an international money transfer. If your son has an Australian bank account, held here in Australia, in Australian currency, then there are no fees associated with a transfer from that as it would not be an international bank transfer. Kind Regards, Karen

Hi Randall, Hahahaha!!! An Aussie bank transfer will be fine. I'll leave you to persuade him. If you make your purchases, I'll send you the invoice and the bank account to transfer it to. Kind Regards, Karen
