We use SAE F-5 Felt off white heavy-duty wool industrial felt. Slightly less
dense than harder F-1 and F-3 felts, F-5 is an ideal felt for wipers, grease
retainer washers, wicks, and vibration mountings. Far superior to other felts
offered on and is more expensive than F-7 brown felt with 80 % wool from our supplier and considered economy felt
